I have started using the Celtx's new "session timer" feature, and I love it. It get my fingers moving across the keyboard. When I open the script I am working on (issue #8), it automatically starts timing me. Then, at any time, I can look at the stats that are generated in any given session. I have barely started to explore this. What it has, however, made me painfully of is how much more time I spend THINKING about writing than actually WRITING WORDS.
This may, in the short term, impact the plotting and thematic strength of my work. But I expect that I will eventually learn to work with that level of pressure AND put out the kind of work I want to produce
