Pages 5-8 of Rapid City #6, drawn by Kav.
Page 5. Nice cameo for The Periodic Table. I still really like the fact that Hourglass takes off her cape when she is doing science.
Page 6. Nice. More talking. More thinking.
Page 7. Every time we go back to Max, he just gets creepier and creepier. This is such a disgusting invasion. Also, nice way to get your noir-lines in there in panel 1!
Page 8. The wet footprints are, again, disgusting. This guy is a monster. The last panel... First, something needs to change with that poster on the wall. Its frame is the same size as the panel gutters, which makes it look like a panel. This effect is amplified by the fact that the picture features a "life-size" figure. I am sure you have already thought of a great way to fix this.
I have been thinking a lot about Max in this last panel. And while I do like your take on the stuff on the bad with him, I have been thinking about it more... and it just isn't quite right. What I want are just Hourglass's things in the room so that it looks like HER room. Or, at the very least, not like a catalog/hotel room. In this shot, you could put some rumpled laundry on the floor, maybe a stuffed elephant on the bed... There really isn't room for much else.
Him collecting up the stuff like that is just not who he is. He really doesn't give a crap about her, he just wants this job done. -Josh
Hey, you will have a better chance to add that personal clutter in the big panel on the previous page. -Josh
